Renault could fall to 35% its stake in the Russian AvtoVAZ, while Nissan will probably be 15%, said the Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn.

Carlos Ghosn made the remarks to financial analysts Monday that he presented the new development plan for six years at Nissan, said several participants contacted by Reuters on Wednesday.

Renault already owns 25% plus one share of AvtoVAZ. The additional 10% of Renault and Nissan 15% could be worth about $ 415 million (287.6 million euros) on the basis of the current stock market valuation of AvtoVAZ.

"It is very likely end up with something on the order of 15% for Nissan and 35% or more for Renault," Ghosn told analysts.

"Why 15% for us (Nissan)? Because it will bring some financial benefits. In addition, I would like (…) that has at least two representatives from Nissan "on the board of AvtoVAZ.

Carlos Ghosn said last week hoping to reach an agreement with shareholders of AvtoVAZ by the end of the year.

He also told the conference that he foresaw no change in the capital structure of the Renault-Nissan for at least two years.
